Job Brief:

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Engineer in Dubai to drive sales and business development activities across Dubai and the Northern Emirates. This role combines technical expertise with strong sales skills to provide tailored solutions that meet customer requirements while achieving business objectives.

The position is field-based and requires frequent customer interaction, technical consultations, and relationship management.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute customer coverage plans with effective time management to maximize sales opportunities across the assigned region.
Identify, acquire, and retain new customers while expanding the existing customer base.
Build strong customer relationships and maintain long-term partnerships to achieve business goals.
Provide expert product knowledge and recommend suitable machinery and equipment solutions based on customer requirements.
Conduct technical presentations and advise customers on the correct usage, benefits, and capabilities of products.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms while effectively closing sales opportunities.
Understand competitor offerings and market positioning to strengthen sales strategies.
Manage after-sales support and maintain CRM records to track the entire workflow from customer inquiry to delivery.
Coordinate internally to ensure timely product delivery and service support.
Resolve customer issues promptly and report sales performance insights to management for continuous improvement.
Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and long-term business growth.

Job Requirements:

B.Tech or Diploma in Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum 3 years of sales experience in Dubai within machinery, diesel engines, generators, power systems, or construction equipment.
Strong sales background in diesel engine-driven applications such as diesel pumping sets, gensets, compressors, transit mixers, or related machinery.
Experience working with OEM dealers or distributors within the equipment or machinery industry.
Sales experience in the diesel generator or power systems industry will be considered an advantage.
Target-oriented mindset with the ability to achieve and exceed sales targets through effective prospecting and relationship management.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers.
Ability to deliver technical presentations and recommend solutions based on customer needs.
Proficiency in CRM usage, sales reporting, and Microsoft Office tools.
UAE driving license is mandatory.
Candidate must currently be in the UAE on a transferable visa or visit visa.
Arabic language skills are preferred.
