Job Brief:

Our client is seeking a Chemical Sales Engineer in Dubai to promote and sell specialty chemicals within the paints and coatings industry. The role focuses on driving revenue growth through technical consultation, product promotion, and strong client relationship management.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of UAE experience in chemical sales, strong technical knowledge of coatings raw materials, and an existing network within the paints and coatings sector. This position requires a motivated professional capable of managing the full sales cycle, conducting product trials, and achieving sales targets across the UAE market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of specialty chemicals to paints & coatings manufacturers and distributors.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UAE market.
  • Manage and grow relationships with key accounts.
  • Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable products based on formulation needs.
  • Conduct client visits, product trials, and technical presentations.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.

Promote product range including:
  • Resins & binders (alkyds, acrylics, epoxy systems)
  • Pigments & colorants (organic/inorganic pigments, titanium dioxide)
  • Additives (dispersants, defoamers, rheology modifiers, wetting agents)
  • Solvents & specialty raw materials used in coatings formulations

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in chemical sales.
  • Strong technical knowledge of coatings raw materials and formulations.
  • Proven B2B sales track record in the UAE market.
  • Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Existing network within the UAE paints & coatings industry.
  • Experience selling similar product lines or working with chemical distributors.
  • Exposure to international suppliers and sourcing.
