Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer - Equipment Sales & Rental to generate sales and rental business for generators, forklifts, and related industrial equipment across the UAE.

The role will focus on developing new customers, generating enquiries, understanding technical and commercial requirements, recommending appropriate equipment and rental solutions, and achieving assigned sales and revenue targets.

Job Responsibilities:

Generate sales and rental business for generators, forklifts, and related industrial equipment across the UAE.
Identify and approach new customers, including contractors, industrial companies, logistics companies, facilities management companies, and other equipment users.
Develop enquiries for generator and forklift sales, equipment rental, and AMC/service contracts.
Conduct customer visits to understand technical and commercial requirements and recommend appropriate equipment or rental solutions.
Prepare and follow up quotations, commercial proposals, and rental offers.
Develop new accounts through cold calling, site visits, referrals, networking, and market research.
Maintain relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for repeat sales, rentals, and maintenance contracts.
Follow upcoming projects and market developments to generate new enquiries.
Coordinate with technical, service, rental, and operations teams to meet customer requirements.
Negotiate commercial terms and follow enquiries through to order closure.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and regularly report on enquiries, quotations, customer visits, and conversions.
Support opportunities within the Middle East and export markets where applicable.
Consistently work towards assigned sales, rental, and revenue targets.

Job Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant sales experience.
Experience in generators, forklifts, equipment rental, and/or AMC business is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of the UAE industrial equipment market.
Middle East and export-market exposure will be an advantage.
Proven ability to develop new customers and generate business independently.
Strong communication, negotiation, and commercial skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with field sales.
Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
