Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer – Equipment Sales & Rental to develop sales and rental business for generators, forklifts, and associated industrial equipment within Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE market.

The role will focus on generating new customers and enquiries, developing relationships with contractors and industrial clients, recommending suitable equipment solutions, and achieving assigned sales, rental, and revenue targets.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop sales and rental business for generators, forklifts, and associated industrial equipment within Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE market.
Identify and develop new customers across construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, industrial, logistics, and facilities-management sectors.
Generate enquiries for equipment sales, rentals, and AMC/service contracts.
Conduct regular customer and site visits to identify requirements and recommend suitable equipment solutions.
Develop relationships with contractors, project companies, industrial customers, and other relevant equipment users.
Prepare quotations and commercial proposals and follow enquiries through negotiation and order closure.
Generate new accounts while developing repeat business from existing customers.
Monitor projects and market activity across Abu Dhabi to identify new business opportunities.
Coordinate internally with rental, technical, service, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and report on customer visits, enquiries, quotations, and conversions.
Achieve assigned sales, rental, and revenue targets.
Support opportunities in wider Middle East and export markets where applicable.

Job Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant sales experience.
Experience selling generators, forklifts, and/or equipment rental services is strongly preferred.
Experience generating AMC/service business will be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of the UAE market, preferably including Abu Dhabi.
Arabic language skills are preferred.
Middle East and export-market exposure will be an advantage.
Strong business development, communication, negotiation, and commercial skills.
Self-driven and target-oriented with the ability to generate new accounts independently.
Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
