Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer – Equipment Sales & Rental to develop the sales and rental business for generators, forklifts, and related industrial equipment across Riyadh and the wider Saudi market.

The role will focus on generating new customer accounts, developing sales and rental enquiries, understanding technical requirements, recommending suitable equipment solutions, and achieving assigned sales, rental, and revenue targets.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop sales and rental business for generators, forklifts, and related industrial equipment across Riyadh and the wider Saudi market.
Identify and approach new customers across construction, infrastructure, industrial, logistics, and other relevant sectors.
Generate enquiries for equipment sales, equipment rental, and AMC/service contracts.
Conduct regular customer and project visits to understand technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
Develop new customer accounts through field sales, networking, referrals, and market research.
Maintain relationships with existing customers and generate repeat sales and rental business.
Prepare quotations and commercial proposals and follow enquiries through negotiation and order closure.
Monitor ongoing and upcoming projects to identify potential equipment requirements.
Coordinate with technical, service, rental, and operations teams to ensure effective customer support.
Maintain an active pipeline and report on customer visits, enquiries, quotations, and conversions.
Achieve assigned sales, rental, and revenue targets.
Support wider Middle East and export-market opportunities where applicable.

Job Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant sales experience.
Experience in generators, forklifts, equipment rental, and/or AMC business is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market.
Arabic language skills are preferred.
Middle East and export-market knowledge will be an advantage.
Proven ability to cultivate new customers and independently generate sales opportunities.
Strong communication, negotiation, and commercial skills.
Self-driven, enthusiastic, and target-oriented.
Valid KSA driving licence is mandatory.
Candidates currently available in Saudi Arabia are preferred.
