Job Brief:

Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer – Electrical with strong technical and commercial experience in electrical products and project sales to support their growing business in the UAE.

The role involves business development, handling tenders and RFQs, preparing technical submittals, and managing key accounts with EPC contractors and end users.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in electrical product sales within the oil and gas, industrial, and infrastructure sectors, with established relationships across EPC contractors, consultants, and end users in the UAE.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development

Develop new business opportunities with EPC contractors, end users, and consultants.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
Achieve assigned sales targets and business development goals.
Actively promote the company's approved brands and capabilities to consultants and contractors.

Technical and Commercial

Handle RFQs, prepare techno-commercial offers, and coordinate with manufacturers.
Review project specifications, BOQs, and datasheets to ensure compliance.
Prepare and submit technical submittals and prequalification documents.
Attend technical and commercial meetings with clients.

Project and Order Follow-up

Follow up on tenders, clarifications, negotiations, and order awards.
Coordinate internally and with suppliers for order execution and delivery.
Track orders and ensure client satisfaction.

Market and Account Development

Track ongoing projects, tenders, and upcoming opportunities in the UAE.
Monitor competitors and market pricing trends.
Support marketing activities, client visits, and exhibitions.

Product Portfolio:

Low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) electrical cables.
Switchgear and related electrical distribution systems.
Industrial and commercial lighting systems.
Related electrical equipment and engineered products for oil and gas, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in the UAE in electrical equipment or project sales.
Experience dealing with EPC contractors and handling oil and gas or infrastructure projects is required.
Business experience with electricity boards and utility companies is strongly preferred.
Good technical knowledge of electrical products, including cables, switchgear, lighting, or related electrical systems.
Experience handling RFQs, tenders, BOQs, technical submittals, and techno-commercial quotations.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
A valid UAE driving licence is required.
Only candidates currently residing in the UAE with relevant electrical equipment or project sales experience will be considered.
