Job Purpose:
To lead the Sales Power Products activities by managing its team, driving sales performance, executing marketing initiatives/campaigns, and optimizing utilization of market potential to maximize business revenue and achieve profits while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:
  • People Management: Manage the department’s team of direct and indirect reports through effective recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning in order to maximize team performance and achieve departmental objectives.
  • Operational Management: Manage the department’s daily operations by providing expertise, enabling teamwork, and aligning processes in order to achieve high-performance standards and meet established targets.
  • Budget Management: Contribute to the development and consolidation of the departmental budget and monitor the department’s financial performance versus the budget, to ensure the exercising of financial authority within established limits and the control of departmental budget expenditure.
  • Sales & Target Management: Manage the development and implementation of effective sales strategies and plans related to all product ranges based on sound data analysis and collection. Define sales targets and follow up with sales teams on monthly, quarterly, and yearly achievements to ensure that the sales targets are successfully met or exceeded. Ensure the overall efficient collection of sales information from key stakeholders within the sales channel and other key departments.
  • Market & Geographical Growth: Manage the identification of new geographical areas for potential business development and new wholesale customer acquisitions and direct the team to explore and expand potential territory. Manage the plan and implementation of the Payment strategy to ensure the achievement of sales and payment collection targets.
  • Customer Relation: Build and manage relationships with new customers and enhance existing relationships to maximize sales and margin returns. Regularly meet with key clients to build long-lasting and successful business relationships to keep the business running successfully in the future. Ensure timely and accurate responses to all sales-related customer-related complaints and queries in order to maintain customer satisfaction. Follow up on a beat routine for sales team visits in order to maintain customer relationships and find new accounts.
  • Pricing & Promotions: Establish and enforce product pricing and discount policies to maximize sales while coordinating with the Finance Director to determine prices which also help break even or meet profit goals.
  • Strategic Relations & Business Development: Visit strategic clients and trade customers to promote products and identify opportunities for increasing sales by building and maintaining strong and long-lasting business relationships. Identify and meet strategic business clients (potential and existing) to expand and maintain the company’s network to ensure a robust pipeline of sales and establish and maintain effective business relationships with key external parties to identify and acquire potential business/sales opportunities and support the Power division in market penetration to improve business relationships and new sales.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Endorse a strong customer satisfaction culture within the team by conducting analysis and Sales Parts satisfaction surveys, and by understanding the problem and its root causes, to ensure corrective actions are in place to manage customer expectations and improve and overcome the weaknesses areas within the Sales Parts department. Review and address key customer complaints to allay their concerns and consequently close the issue to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Pricing & Promotions: Establish and enforce product pricing and discount policies to maximize sales while coordinating with the Finance Director to determine prices which also help break even or meet profit goals.
  • Training & Reports: Ensure the provision of on-the-job training and support on pricing, sales skills, and product knowledge to improve performance and enhance professional development as needed. Manage the timely and accurate preparation of weekly and monthly reports including the provision of information and analysis of market situation, and competitor activities to gain a competitive advantage.
  • Policies & Procedures: Ensure the staff’s adherence, implementation, and communication of the department’s policies and procedures to ensure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are clearly communicated and duly fulfilled.
  • Health, Safety & Quality: Ensure departmental compliance to all relevant health, safety, and quality requirements in order to guarantee employee safety and legislative compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices taking into account ‘leading best practices’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
Job Requirements:
  • 10 years of relevant experience out of which 3 in a managerial role.
  • Must possess sales experience in the UAE/KSA.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field.
  • Certification in CSMP, CSLP, CSE, or CPSP is preferable.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Generic Skills: Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Computer literacy (Research Engines, ERP).
