Job Brief:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director – Construction & Industrial to lead and execute the commercial strategy for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening key customer relationships across construction and industrial sectors.
This senior leadership role is responsible for building high-performing sales teams, developing strategic partnerships, and aligning sales execution with company objectives across multiple business units, including steel, aluminum, prefab, PVC membrane, industrial manufacturing, and temporary structures.
The position is based in Dubai and operates at group level, supporting multiple subsidiaries and regional operations.

Key Relationships:
Board of Directors & Chairman
Purpose: Strategy approval, revenue performance, and market positioning
Sales Director Focus:
  • Provide periodic updates on sales performance, pipeline, and revenue forecasts
  • Advise on market expansion, pricing, and customer segmentation
  • Support Board discussions on revenue risks and contract exposure
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making
Group Executive Leadership (CEO, CFO, COO, CHRO, Commercial Director, Industrial/Factory Heads)
Purpose: Strategic alignment
Sales Director Focus:

Subsidiary General Managers & Country Heads

Job Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Set targets, forecasts, and budgets, and track KPIs.
  • Promote accountability and continuous improvement.
Group Sales Alignment
Harmonize sales strategies across subsidiaries and product lines.
  • Drive cross-selling and bundled solutions.
  • Build a unified group-wide sales methodology and CRM discipline.
Commercial Authority & Accountability
  • Serve as final authority on group sales strategy and pipeline governance.
  • Act as co-signatory on major contracts (with CEO/CFO).
  • Own pricing frameworks and discount thresholds.
  • Ensure revenue quality, margins, and collectability.
Commercial Risk & Contract Governance
  • Establish bid/no-bid review processes.
  • Ensure contract terms align with operational and legal requirements.
  • Manage exposure related to LDs, payment terms, and claims.
  • Lead commercial escalations for high-risk projects.
Market & Business Development
  • Identify new opportunities in construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
  • Build strong relationships with contractors, developers, OEMs, and distributors.
  • Oversee major bids and tenders.
  • Monitor competitors and market trends.
Customer & Key Account Management
  • Act as executive sponsor for key clients.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordinate with technical and delivery teams.
Revenue & Performance Management
  • Achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets.
  • Analyze pipeline and sales data.
  • Optimize pricing and discount structures.
  • Ensure CRM accuracy and forecasting discipline.
  • Improve cash collection and DSO.
  • Support working capital objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing on branding and lead generation.
  • Align with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Provide market feedback for product development.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in construction, industrial, or engineering sectors.
  • At least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Proven success in complex B2B sales cycles and large contracts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or advanced commercial qualification.
  • Experience in EPC projects, industrial equipment, or building materials.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes.
