Job Brief:

We are hiring for a Senior Accountant job in Dubai to support our client’s financial operations within the HVAC trading industry.

The ideal candidate will manage daily accounting activities, ensure VAT compliance, work extensively with SAP, and maintain accurate financial documentation. This role requires strong analytical skills, UAE accounting experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively across finance functions.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, general ledger postings, and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Assist in the reconciliation of all bank and loan accounts with bank statements and financial records to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Work extensively on SAP and ERP systems for financial data management, reporting, and accounting processes.
Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including VAT calculations, filing, documentation, and maintaining proper records.
Assist in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including monitoring outstanding payments and coordinating with relevant departments.
Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation required for internal and external audits.
Assist during internal and external audit processes by providing necessary financial records, reports, and clarifications.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5–6 years of UAE accounting experience in a similar role.
Hands-on experience with SAP Business is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting procedures.
Experience managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and documentation.
