Job Purpose:
Create a brand-new general ledger controlling function and make sure adherence to Group Policy and General Accepted Accounting Principles, to help provide an accurate record of all financial transactions; which helps the Finance manager to analyze and understand the P&L and balance sheet. Provide technical support to Operation, Supply Chain Commercial team, and other stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and post journals for leases, accruals, provisions, and other adjustments.
  • Balance sheets account reconciliation.
  • Finalize PL and Balance figures to be reported in COMSHARE.
  • Provide Adhoc financial reports to the CEME division for reporting and system integration.
  • Provide major support to Internal and external audits.
  • Finalize and provide a detailed analysis of weekly and monthly Sales.
  • SAP FICO reconciliation and make the necessary manual adjustments.
  • Support inventory count for technical issues and necessary adjustments.
  • Provide analysis for product pricing, purchases, and manufacturing variances.
  • Inventory Valuation and Standard price update.
  • Perform full intercompany scope transactions (Invoice posting, payments, reconciliation, and adjustments).
  • Assist in preparing monthly VAT returns and filing.
  • Support operation, commercial, supply chain, and finance for inquiries related to reports and SAP technical issues.
  • First-level approver for all POs to ensure proper GL and cost center are used.
  • Other tasks are given by the Manager.
  • Respect and comply with the provisions regarding the integrated management system (IMS includes also ISO 37301 Compliance management systems) set out in the system documentation, in particular in the IMS Policy, the IMS Manual, and in the procedures and instructions describing the processes carried out at the company.
  • Supporting and following the company’s Group Code of Conduct and Product Compliance Policy.
  • Prepare internal and external audit requests.

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, CPA, CMA.
  • Can work independently.
  • Problem-solver in resourceful ways.
  • Can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, e.g. auditors.
  • Solution oriented.
  • Deep accounting knowledge, AP, and AR experience.
  • IFRS.
  • Internal financial reporting.
  • Consolidation.
  • IT Skills: SAP ECC, SAP S4/HANA, Power BI, and MS Office.
