Senior Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
Plan, assign, and review staff’s work.
Support month-end and year-end close process.
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Liaise with clients to provide financial advice and support.
Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers.
Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process.
Provide technical support and advice on Management Accountant.
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
Manage the preparation of regulatory reporting.

Job Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
Industry experience in Accounting and Auditing Consultancy is mandatory.
Indian male candidate preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
Advanced skills in MS Excel and accounting software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
