Job Brief:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the finance team. As a key member of the accounting department, the ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, managing daily accounting operations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. This position requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
  • Audit and Internal Controls: Collaborate with external auditors, implement internal controls, and ensure adherence to financial procedures.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior accountants, providing guidance and support.
  • Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payables and accounts receivables.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and other financial data.
Job Requirements:
  • Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) will be a value addition
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in accounting in facility management / contracting industry, preferably in the UAE
  • Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards & practices, financial regulations, and IFRS
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Zoho Books, Tally) and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Flexibility of relocation within UAE
  • Valid UAE Driving License
