Senior Interior Designer

Job Brief:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead design projects from concept to execution. The role involves coordinating the internal design team, developing design concepts, preparing drawings and material boards, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations. Candidates must provide a portfolio and an updated CV to be considered.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Understand the design brief and develop ideas, layouts, drawings, and material boards from concept through to implementation.
  • Design interior and exterior spaces, including layout options, finishes, custom joinery, furniture selection, and accessories.
  • Lead and manage Junior and Intermediate Designers, ensuring smooth coordination, clear task delegation, and quality output.
  • Coordinate with the internal design team and collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and vendors as required.
  • Ensure compliance with design standards, project timelines, and budget requirements.
  • Present design decisions clearly and participate in key project stages with senior management.
  • Prepare documentation, models, images, and presentations for client review and internal use.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies, and pursue continuous professional development.
Job Requirements:
  • 7–10 years of experience in retail, commercial, F&B, and hospitality design with top-tier consultancies.
  • Must have a strong F&B and hospitality design background.
  • Must be currently based in Dubai.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
  • Proficient in MicroStation, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and MS Office.
  • Strong understanding of project financials and ability to deliver within budgets and timelines.
  • Ability to integrate design with architectural requirements.
  • Skilled in developing and documenting design concepts using various media.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Proven experience managing junior and intermediate designers.
