Job Brief:Our client in the automotive OEM sector is hiring a Senior Sales Manager to lead sales strategy, dealer development, and cross-functional alignment across West and Central Africa. This role demands a commercially focused and analytically strong individual with solid regional knowledge and a background in OEM operations, who can drive measurable impact in volume, revenue, and market expansion.
Job Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Target Achievement- Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to achieve and exceed regional sales revenue, volume, and market share goals.
- Identify market expansion opportunities in existing, underrepresented, and untapped WCA countries.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and adapt strategies based on market intelligence and competitive activity.
Dealer & Market Development- Build and sustain strong relationships with existing and prospective dealers and distributors in the region.
- Conduct evaluations to ensure compliance with Dealership Agreements and operational standards.
- Support dealers with strategic guidance on marketing, aftersales, and customer engagement.
Product & Operational Alignment- Collaborate with Isuzu Japan and affiliates to influence product development and modifications aligned with regional customer needs.
- Provide market-driven proposals based on data analytics and field insights.
- Proactively manage the supply-demand balance to ensure consistent product availability.
Team Leadership & Talent Development- Lead, coach, and mentor the regional sales team to maximize performance and align with corporate objectives.
- Set individual and team KPIs and ensure consistent performance management.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members in line with the organization's talent strategy.
Data-Driven Management- Prepare and present regular reports and performance updates to senior management.
