Job Brief:The Senior Project and Planning Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Oil & Gas Process Skid Modules projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality standards and client requirements. The position is responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing risks, and ensuring seamless execution across engineering, procurement, fabrication, and quality functions.
Job Responsibilities:Project Management & Planning- Oversee project delivery from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and budget.
- Define project objectives, develop detailed roadmaps, and establish clear timelines.
- Assemble and lead project teams, streamline communication, and resolve conflicts efficiently.
- Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans.
- Manage resource allocation, scheduling, and quality control to meet client expectations.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and promptly address issues.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring compliance with local regulations, technical specifications, and end-user standards.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, procurement, QA/QC, vendors, and the fabrication shop for smooth project execution.
- Assist the proposal team in bidding activities and securing contracts for Oil & Gas Process Modules.
Resource & Team Management- Recruit, train, and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Manage project resources, including equipment, materials, and manpower, to optimize delivery.
- Promote professional development and continuous improvement within the project team.
Schedule & Budget Control- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion and cost control.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for senior management on project progress and financial performance.
Risk & Performance Monitoring- Identify potential risks and implement strategies to minimize disruptions to cost and schedule.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
Stakeholder Engagement- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, compliance, and satisfaction throughout the project duration.
- Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and operational issues.
- Coordinate internal project team reviews and client approvals, including progress measurement and reporting.
Vendor & Procurement Management- Oversee and conduct supplier audits, cost analysis, and quality assessments.
- Identify, qualify, and develop strong vendor relationships across the Middle East for engineering, electrical, and instrumentation services.
- Optimize procurement efficiency and project execution through effective vendor management.
HSE Compliance- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards throughout project execution.
- Implement safety measures and enforce compliance at vendor sites, fabrication workshops, and client locations.
Travel Requirements- Travel to vendor worksites and fabrication locations as required.
- Be present at workshops or project sites during execution to manage packages effectively.
