Job Responsibilities:
  • Establish a detailed UAE market customer database, market sizing, and competitor positioning.
  • Follow and report on major customer and competitor moves and news.
  • Follow and report on market prices, growth rates, etc.
  • Suggest and agree with management on the best route to market.
  • Introduce the Company to target customers and routes to market.
  • Manage technical qualification process at customers in coordination with the Technical Manager including getting competitor liquid samples; foamed samples; data sheets and processing conditions.
  • Schedule regular customer visits and have an in-depth understanding of the customer’s business model, legal structure, and financial position, and provide basic technical support to customers.
  • Manage existing accounts to secure target volumes and met/developed them.
  • Communicate prices with customers and negotiate to finalize orders (offer to P/I).
  • Manage customer claims in coordination with the Technical manager and the Senior Sales Manager.
  • Based on credit files suggest customer credit limits and payment terms.
  • Follow-up collection and secure on-time payments from customers.
  • Collection progress should be kept to a level of less than 50%.

Job Requirements:
  • University degree (Accounting, Finance); Masters is a plus.
  • Coatings background and trading experience is preferable.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Good English is a must, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
