Job Responsibilities:
Support Responsibilities:

Support the organization in all aspects of its work, mainly related to water treatment chemicals.
Provide after-sales service to existing and new customers.

Technical Responsibilities:

Analyze water samples and implement various water treatment chemical programs for boilers, cooling towers/condenser water, chilled water, swimming pools, and general purposes.
Follow up and maintain business relationships with customers independently.
Maintain schedules and reports of work planned and completed in accordance with the administrative systems operated by the company.

Liaison and Support:

Liaise with the sales team, consultants, contractors, and customers.
Provide technical support to licensees and customers of the organization.

Health and Safety:

Observe all Health and Safety directives or guidelines in force in the company and as may be imposed by the customer.
Make full use of safety equipment issued by the company and act in a safe, responsible manner.

Project Management:

Carry out assigned water treatment jobs for customers.
Provide smooth water treatment services in collaboration with the sales team, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of water treatment specialty chemical dosage and calculations.
Develop process engineering in support of day-to-day operations, maintenance, and monitoring activities.
Monitor and evaluate performance, maintaining effective monitoring reports.
Troubleshoot operational and process quality problems in cooling water treatment, process water treatment, CHW, condensers, etc.
Provide technical content for operating procedures.
Conduct and supervise flushing work.
Identify and address additional service requirements for clients.
Commission and troubleshoot water treatment controllers/dosing systems.
Program and interface the controller of BMS/SCADA systems.
Knowledge of Ethernet/IP address communication.
Review current treatment programs (case studies) and provide enhanced technical support.
Conduct corrosion coupon monitoring and biological control measures based on site – spot/lab test methods.
Calibrate special sensors like PTSA, Fluorometers, Online corrators, pH, Conductivity, Chlorine, Turbidity, ORP, etc.
Coordinate with equipment suppliers for troubleshooting dosing systems (Controllers, Pumps, Sensors).
Handle materials and installation.
Maintain chemical stock and coordinate with logistics to ensure adequate stock for water treatment.
Provide onsite training for customers, clients, and site operatives.

Chilled Water System:

Install plant equipment with reference to Schematic, P&ID, Piping Layout, and Isometric Drawings.
Raise RFI and coordinate with consultants for approval upon completion of Installation, Testing, and Commissioning.
Coordinate with clients regarding site readiness to commence installation activities.
Accomplish pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Optimize plant performance to meet designed commitments.
Coordinate with the project team to execute plant actions.
Diagnose and provide recommendations for process-oriented issues.
Prepare Method Statements, Checklists, TRA for Installation, Testing, and Commissioning.
Generate monthly O&M, AMC Services reports, monthly production & chemical consumption reports, and water analysis reports.
Survey and submit reports of actual/as-built site conditions with recommendations to the sales team prior to bidding.
Apply for and close work permits, maintaining safety rules onsite.
Review client procedures and drawings.
Ensure materials used for work comply with specified requirements.
Monitor storage and handling of materials.

Chilled/Condenser & Pipeline - Chemical Flushing:

Monitor HDPE welding and fabrication activities of chilled water pipelines.
Prepare for threading installation and water leak tests.
Check systems to be flushed and carry out the installation of hoses, pipes, fittings, and pumps.
Conduct flushing and assist engineers with consultant inspection and approval.
Coordinate site activities with engineers.

Domestic Water Tank Cleaning, Flushing, and Disinfection:

Check tanks and domestic water systems to be flushed.
Install hoses, pipes, fittings, and pumps.
Supervise tank cleaning and disinfection.
Assist engineers with consultant inspection and approval.
Coordinate site activities with engineers.
Obtain approval, WCR, Invoice approval, etc.
Conduct water analysis and provide site reports.
Swimming Pool, Fountain, Jacuzzi Cleaning, and Boiler Water Treatment:
Check systems to be maintained.
Clean pools and add chemicals as advised.
Perform backwash of filters.
Coordinate site activities with engineers.
Obtain approval, WCR, Invoice approval, etc.
Conduct water analysis and provide site reports.
Troubleshoot operational and process quality problems in cooling water treatment, boiler water treatment, process water treatment, chilled water, wastewater, domestic water, swimming pool water, etc.
Provide technical content for operating procedures.

Job Requirements:

Must have 3-4 years of experience in a similar industry.
B.E/B.Tech or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
UAE Driving License is preferred.
