Job Brief:

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Civil Engineer with hands-on experience in site execution and a strong understanding of construction drawings for ongoing projects in Dubai.

The Site Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising day-to-day civil construction activities, ensuring that site works are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and construction schedules.

The ideal candidate should have practical UAE construction experience, preferably in Dubai, with the ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings, coordinate with site teams, and support the timely completion of construction activities.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites.
Ensure site execution is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Read, review, and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings for accurate site execution.
Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and other project teams to ensure smooth construction activities.
Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed according to project schedules.
Identify drawing discrepancies and site-related technical issues, and coordinate with the relevant teams for clarification and resolution.
Monitor construction quality and ensure workmanship meets approved project standards.
Coordinate the availability of manpower, materials, and equipment required for site execution.
Conduct regular site inspections to verify progress, quality, and compliance with approved drawings.
Assist with consultant inspections and the timely closure of site observations.
Maintain daily site progress reports and relevant construction documentation.
Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and established construction procedures.
Report project delays, execution challenges, and technical issues to the Project Manager or relevant management team.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
3–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction and site execution.
Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on UAE construction experience. Direct experience working on construction projects in Dubai would be an advantage.
Proven experience in civil site execution is mandatory.
Strong ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural construction drawings.
Good understanding of construction methods, site supervision, and project specifications.
Experience coordinating with site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and construction teams.
Ability to identify and resolve drawing-related and site execution issues.
Good understanding of construction quality and site safety practices.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage day-to-day site activities and work towards project deadlines.
