Job Brief:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Site Engineer to oversee site activities for metal fabrication and aluminium contracting projects in Sharjah. The role involves coordinating site execution, monitoring installation activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and supporting the successful delivery of projects within quality, safety, and timeline requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering background and the ability to coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients while ensuring smooth on-site operations. Job Responsibilities:

Visit project sites to supervise and monitor daily installation and execution activities.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure work progresses according to approved drawings and project schedules.
Review technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements before and during execution.
Monitor site progress and report updates, challenges, and potential delays to management.
Ensure materials, manpower, and equipment are available to support site activities.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to facilitate timely material deliveries and project requirements.
Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship, quality standards, and compliance with approved specifications.
Assist in resolving technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions during project execution.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations, company procedures, and project requirements.
Prepare site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and documentation as required.
Coordinate with consultants and clients during inspections, approvals, and project handovers.
Support final project completion activities, snagging, and close-out documentation.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar engineering role within metal fabrication, aluminium, construction, or engineering projects.
Strong understanding of site execution, installation activities, and project coordination.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
Good knowledge of fabrication and installation processes will be an advantage.
Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve site-related technical issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
UAE driving licence will be an advantage.
