Job Brief:
The Specification Engineer is responsible for driving product specifications with architects, consultants, and contractors across Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on ensuring the company’s acoustic underlay, insulation, HVAC accessories, vibration-control products, and other building-material solutions are included in project designs, tender documents, and consultant approvals. This position requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to interpret drawings, and a consultative approach to managing relationships with design firms and project stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, acoustic consultants, MEP consultants, specifiers, and contractors.
Ensure the company’s solutions are specified in design documents, BOQs, and tender packages.
Deliver technical presentations, CPDs, and product demonstrations to consultants and design firms.
Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to identify opportunities for product inclusion.
Prepare detailed product specifications for acoustic underlay, insulation, HVAC components, vibration-isolation products, or other assigned systems.
Maintain an updated project and consultant database, including specification progress and follow-up status.
Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Production) to define technical requirements for projects.
Prepare technical submittals, compliance sheets, and supporting documents to secure consultant approvals.
Support the Sales Engineer in converting project specifications into quotations and cost estimates.
Stay updated on industry codes, standards, and compliance requirements relevant to building materials.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in specification, technical support, or consultant-facing roles within HVAC, insulation, building materials, or construction products.
Strong technical understanding of MEP, HVAC, acoustic systems, or construction materials.
Ability to interpret AutoCAD drawings, project specs, and technical documents.
Skilled in preparing technical presentations, submittals, and compliance documentation.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with consultants and contractors.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for reviewing drawings and BOQs.
