Job Brief:The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory, warehousing, and supplier management. The role ensures the timely and cost-effective supply of materials and services to support operational delivery while maintaining compliance, quality, and risk management standards.
This role owns the Group’s end-to-end supply chain governance, ensuring standardization, transparency, and strategic sourcing across all factories, projects, and business units.
Job Responsibilities:1. Supply Chain Strategy & Planning- Develop and implement the supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Forecast demand and plan procurement, inventory, and logistics requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain performance.
2. Procurement & Supplier Management- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contract management.
- Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliability.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Own framework agreements and long-term supplier partnerships.
- Lead high-value and high-risk contract negotiations.
- Drive localization strategy and dual-sourcing models.
3. Inventory & Warehouse Management- Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and warehouse operations.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory records, stock reconciliation, and reporting.
- Optimize storage, handling, and material control processes.
4. Logistics & Distribution- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, and distribution.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to projects/sites.
- Manage freight, customs, and logistics cost control.
5. Quality, Compliance & Risk Management- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and internal controls.
- Manage supply chain risks, including disruption, supplier dependency, quality issues, and cost volatility.
- Support audits and governance reviews related to supply chain operations.
6. Financial Management & Cost Control- Manage supply chain budget, cost savings initiatives, and spend analysis.
- Optimize working capital through inventory management and supplier payment terms.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting of procurement and inventory costs.
7. Leadership & Team Management- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team.
- Establish clear performance objectives and KPIs for the function.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability.
- Design and maintain an optimal supply chain organizational structure.
- Build succession planning for key roles.
- Drive capability building in procurement, planning, and logistics.
- Lead change management for digital transformation initiatives.
8. Production & Factory Integration- Align procurement and inventory planning with factory production schedules.
- Ensure raw material availability for uninterrupted manufacturing.
- Implement MRP logic within ERP for steel, aluminum, PVC, and prefab lines.
- Reduce WIP and idle time due to material shortages.
