Job Brief:The Technical Sales Support Engineer plays a key role in providing technical sales support and contributing to product development efforts. This position focuses on growing the business in Drainage and Manhole cover products within Saudi Arabia by delivering expert technical assistance and solutions.
Job Responsibilities:- Analyze customer requirements to propose suitable and effective technical solutions.
- Manage and prioritize assigned tasks to ensure the timely delivery of technical support to the sales team.
- Provide detailed product information and documentation, and expertly answer technical questions throughout the sales cycle.
- Prepare and provide pre-qualification documents for tenders and projects.
- Study project specifications and AutoCAD drawings to prepare accurate compliance statements.
- Prepare comprehensive material submittals for consultant and client approval, adhering to all required standards and formats.
- Review and respond to consultants’ comments in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with the internal design team, providing clear input for required customized products.
- Prepare activity reports and present technical insights to management.
- Maintain and keep up-to-date all technical documents, including compliance sheets, data sheets, and user guides.
- Coordinate with product development and engineering teams to address complex solution needs.
- Provide valuable feedback to product teams based on market trends and customer insights.
- Participate in key customer meetings alongside the sales team to support complex or high-value sales opportunities.
- Conduct project site visits with the sales team to follow up on submittal approvals and support product adoption with consultants.
