Job Brief:The Lead Technical Sales Support Engineer is a key leadership role responsible for guiding the technical sales support function and driving product development initiatives. This position will lead efforts to grow the business in Drainage and Manhole cover products within Saudi Arabia by mentoring a team, providing expert technical oversight, and ensuring the delivery of superior technical solutions.
Job Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and develop the technical sales support team, fostering a culture of excellence, responsiveness, and accountability.
- Assign and prioritize tasks for the team to ensure timely and effective delivery of technical support to the sales organization.
- Review and validate solution designs, proposals, and technical documents prepared by the team to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with customer requirements.
- Oversee preparation of pre-qualification documents and complex material submittals, ensuring compliance with all project standards and formats.
- Act as the final escalation point for technical queries, providing expert guidance on product information, specifications, and documentation.
- Guide the team in studying project specifications and AutoCAD drawings to prepare precise compliance statements.
- Direct responses to consultants’ comments, ensuring professional and effective resolution of feedback.
- Serve as the key liaison between the technical sales support team and the internal design team, providing consolidated input for customized products.
- Prepare and present reports on team performance, technical trends, and sales support effectiveness to senior management.
- Ensure all technical documents, compliance sheets, and data guides are accurate, current, and readily accessible.
- Coordinate with product development and engineering leadership on complex or strategic technical solution requirements.
- Provide strategic feedback to product teams based on market analysis and customer insights to influence the product roadmap.
- Lead technical discussions during key customer meetings to support high-value or complex sales opportunities.
- Oversee project site visits and follow-ups to ensure submittal approvals and strengthen relationships with key consultants.
